Liaison Officer
Norraine is the Diabetes SA Membership Liaison Officer, often the first point of contact for people who are newly diagnosed with diabetes or at risk of diabetes and seeking support. Norraine's role is to explain the benefits of the Diabetes SA membership, assuring people that we are here to listen, here to advise and help lighten the load of living with diabetes.
With South Australia's growing cultural diversity, Norraine's passion is to communicate effectively about how Diabetes SA can support the individuals and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds with their diabetes journey to live well.
Norraine has a wealth of customer service experience with her diverse background in finance, business development, contact centres, marketing and retail. She also holds an Associate Diploma in Business (Business) from University of South Australia. Norraine is passionate about helping others and has been volunteering over 20 years in various not for profit organisations and community groups.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, cooking and experiencing foods from different cultures and enjoys walking trails.
