QIC Health & Community Standards Accreditation

The Association is pleased to announce that it has achieved accreditation against the QIC Health & Community Standards

Under its Standards and Accreditation Program QIC awards accreditation to organisations which have fulfilled the program requirements including that they have met the Health & Community Standards, that they demonstrate ongoing continuous quality improvement and that they contract to participate in the program for the next full review cycle.

The QIC Health and Community Standards asks organisations to:

  1. Describe the plans, policies, processes that the organisation has in place to make sure that it delivers good services and programs and can survive and grow.
  2. Describe what it does to make sure that these plans, policies and processes are being followed by everyone involved.
  3. Looks for ways of improving processes, services and programs so that it keeps up to date with changes in your community, new practices or treatments, funding or growth opportunities.

For Diabetes SA accreditation indicates to our members, consumers and stakeholders that we are committed to continuously improving our organisation, our people and the services and programs we provide.
