This program aims to help you to understand gestational diabetes and how it can be managed to help reduce the short and long-term risks associated with gestational diabetes.

The Gestational Diabetes program will cover

  • an overview including risk factors,
  • screening and potential risks associated with gestational diabetes,
  • general management guidelines including blood glucose monitoring,
  • healthy eating recommendations, physical activity, medications, antenatal checks and reducing your risk of
  • type 2 diabetes.

This program should not replace any recommendations provided by your diabetes team. This program will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and consists of videos, some written information and links to more resources.
