Your healthcare team
Through your membership with Diabetes SA, you have access to the health professional team for diabetes management advice. You can also book a telehealth (phone or video) consultation with our credentialled diabetes educators or dietitian to discuss any concerns you may have. Just call 1300 198 204 Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. The fee for the consultations will vary, depending on whether you have a GP Care plan or are self-referred, so please ask us when you call.
Education and events
Diabetes SA members can access free diabetes education from one of our online programs. These sessions help you set your own individual health goals and build knowledge of your condition. We are currently working hard on increasing the number of online programs while the COVID-19 restrictions prevent the face-to-face programs, so we will be in touch soon!
My Life magazine
Many members have told us that our exclusive, member only E-news and magazine ‘MY LIFE Living with Diabetes’ is where they turn for much of their diabetes information. Each edition brings you the latest information, stories and advice – real life support for everyone living with diabetes, and past editions available when you sign in online.
